GX-TXT IR Remote Tester – The New PCB Has Arrived
The new version of the GX-TXT IR Remote Tester PCB has arrived, together with the stencil for applying solder paste.
I still need to wait for a few components before I can complete the assembly, but there is already a first note for the next revision: in this version I placed VPOWER underneath VIR. The circuit itself is still the one that needs to be experimentally verified, but this part of the layout has been corrected in the next revision, which is still on its way, because of course I only noticed the mistake after placing the order.
Once I have finished the measurements, I will at least try the stencil and check whether I have managed to get the push-button footprint wrong again, as I did on the previous PCB!
As soon as the missing components arrive—a capacitor, a resistor, and the photodiode—I can move on to assembly and testing.
If you are interested in my measurements… stay tuned!
